Taste Colombian, Kenyan, Rwandan, and Fujian teas right in the Bay Area in this tea tasting experience in Alameda. This is an opportunity to learn something new, discover flavors and tea blends from around the world, and enjoy a relaxing and interactive activity.


In this workshop, you will learn how to taste and distinguish between yellow, green, oolong, black, and pu-erh teas from African, Asian, and South American regions. You'll also explore the differences in flavor profiles between these teas and herbal teas/tisanes, as well as how the brewing temperature can affect the taste.


Explore these teas by coming solo, with friends, your mom, or even your significant other for a fun experience. You don't have to fear, this workshop is open to beginners where you can feel at ease and relaxed learning something new.


In this session, you'll have a chance to explore and sample white, yellow, green, oolong, black, and pu-erh teas (five basic teas) from Africa, Asia, and South America. We'll identify the difference in taste profile of cold brewed teas versus hot brewed. You'll have fun learning the tea basics and enjoy understanding the differences between these teas.


The goal of this comprehensive workshop is to open your palate to a variety of global teas that are not standardly consumed.
