Glendora Recovery Foundation, founded in 2023, is dedicated to our mission to raise funds to support all individuals who lack resources for substance abuse and mental health treatment. We advocate for universal access to high-quality care, recognizing its role in enhancing individuals' opportunities for success. Substance abuse and mental health issues can have profound effects on both families and communities. Individuals facing these challenges often struggle with relationships, employment, and well-being. This can lead to strain on families, disruptions in daily life, and community-wide impacts such as increased crime rates, healthcare burdens, and decreased productivity. Untreated issues can escalate, resulting in severe health problems, homelessness, legal involvement, or death. Moreover, untreated substance abuse and mental health problems can perpetuate intergenerational trauma and societal inequities, worsening community challenges. Prioritizing access to comprehensive treatment and support services is crucial for addressing these issues and promoting healing for individuals, families, and communities.
