About this event

Passion, humor, joy, and – most of all – hope, are elements of Glen David Andrews’ music, which combines jazz, gospel, rock, blues and funk.

New Orleans soul, second-line swagger, and a voice that can shake the rafters.

Glen David Andrews, a native of New Orleans’ legendary Tremé neighborhood, is more than a world-class performer—he’s a cultural torchbearer, a powerhouse of musical passion, and a fearless advocate for the spirit of his city.

Known for his commanding vocals, fierce trombone playing, and soul-stirring stage presence, Glen fuses the heart of New Orleans brass tradition with the electricity of gospel, jazz, funk, rock, and blues. He doesn’t just play music—he preaches it, lives it, and transforms the room with it.

Backed by his high-powered ensemble, The Glen David Andrews Band delivers a live experience that’s joyful, raw, rebellious, and unforgettably real. His music is packed with hard-earned truths, humor, compassion, and boundless hope.

Born into a musical dynasty that includes his brother Derrick Tabb (Rebirth Brass Band) and cousin Trombone Shorty, Glen learned his craft alongside brass band legends like Tuba Fats. Now a headliner at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and a global ambassador for his city’s traditions, he brings all of that energy and history to the Caffè Lena stage—for one incredible night.

Come ready to move, shout, and feel every note. New Orleans is coming to Saratoga, and it’s going to be unforgettable.
