Pottery and Clay Craft

This collection contains our classes relating to the art of pottery and clay craft. We have classes for all skill levels from beginner to advanced!

<h3>Dates: </h3><ol><li>9/29 to glaze pieces</li><li>10/5 to pick up finished work with discussion/critique</li></ol><p><br>Come explore glazing techniques with Dominique at Makerspace. This one day workshop will teach you the whole process from setting up, cleaning up and the glaze room standards and etiquette. Even if you've glazed before this class will be great for everyone. We will explore various techniques including but not limited to underglazes, underglaze transfers, dipping and brushing glazes and glaze combination techniques . You will be provided with your pick of a bisque fired piece to glaze and all the materials needed.</p><p><em><strong><strong>We will meet at 6pm Monday October 5th to discuss and critique our finished work. At this time you will be able to take your work home.</strong></strong></em></p><h3>About your instructor</h3><p>Dominique is a local potter who's specializes unique, colorful, experimental and functional ceramics.</p><h3>Refund Policy</h3><ul><li>Transfers to another class follow the same refund rules as your original date.</li><li><strong><strong>14+ days before the first class:</strong></strong> Full refund.</li><li><strong><strong>7–13 days before the first class:</strong></strong> Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.</li><li><strong><strong>Fewer than 7 days before the first class:</strong></strong> No refunds.</li><li><strong><strong>Seat transfer:</strong></strong> If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.</li></ul><p>To cancel or request a transfer, please email steve@makerspacecharlotte.org. For general questions, you’re welcome to visit MakerSpace Charlotte on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. For urgent, time-sensitive issues with your reservation, contact Steve at (704) 353-3300.</p><p>Class may be canceled due to low enrollment, in which case a full refund will be issued.</p><h3>Cancellation Policy</h3><p>MakerSpace reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment. If a class is canceled by MakerSpace, fees are 100% refundable.</p>
