As Braver Angels, we love to share with others what we have learned and experienced on our journey. However, the skills to tell our story in 10 seconds or less takes a little shift in perspective and some practice. This workshop will help you develop a short, clear and memorable way to talk about Braver Angels with media, potential partners, and prospective Braver Angels members. You will be challenged to keep it short, but will have fun learning how to concisely tell the Braver Angels story.
Instructor Lorraine Howell retired at the end of 2020 after more than 20 years of speech coaching and media training. Her specialty is preparing people for the spotlight. Prior to that she was a TV news and talk show producer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Lorraine is the author of Give Your Elevator Speech a Lift! a step-by-step guide to eliminating the verbal clutter when answering the question “What do you do?" She has served as a Moderator with Braver Angels and is a member of the Braver Angels Western WA Alliance.
This workshop is recommended for further training for all newly trained BA Ambassadors, Alliance Co-Chairs, State Coordinators, and is open to all Braver Angels.
