Welcome to the Girls STEM Summer Workshop: Crafting Confidence , a single-day summer workshop for girls ages 8-12 looking to explore STEM concepts old and new and build their confidence and girl power! Girls will join Ms. Lexie (Lexie Polevoi), tech professional and Enrichment Educator, on Sat Jun 08 2024 at 10:00 AM where they will be introduced to essential STEM themes and ideas, brainstorm and discuss female role models and moving mantras, and culminate the workshop with a super fun take-home craft that represents their learnings (and can be used as an interactive activity in the future, too!). Girls should expect a safe environment where they can dive deep, be themselves, and maybe even make a new friend! Don't miss out on this one-day experience!
No prior STEM experience needed -- just an open mind ready to learn, craft, and demistify the STEM world together!
* Pick up and drop off at ARTifact Studio.
* Workshop is limited to 12 students to promote learning and provide maximum support to each student. Students are encouraged to bring a nut-free snack and water bottle.
