Is Staatsburgh accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Patrons will check-in at the front desk on the ground level. There is one staircase to get to the main floor of the house - where the Tea & Talk is set. If you prefer to use our accessible ramp to enter the house, please inform us in advance at StaatsburghSHS@parks.ny.gov, or at check-in.

Question 2

Can I use my ticket for any date/lecture?

Accepted Answer

Tickets for one program are NOT transferable to another program. If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible.

Question 3

Can I gift tickets to someone?

Accepted Answer

Yes, "Tea & Talk" tickets make a great holiday gift! When purchasing tickets for someone else, please make the reservation under their name.

Question 4

What happens if an event is cancelled due to weather?

Accepted Answer

Alternative "snow dates" are listed with each program date. We will notify all patrons by noon the previous day, at the latest, if we need to postpone the event. Refunds will be issued to all patrons who cannot attend the designated "snow date."

Question 5

Will I get a full refund if the event is cancelled?

Accepted Answer

Eventbrite's ticketing fees are non-refundable; for these programs, Eventbrite's non-refundable fee is approximately $5.75; the other portion of the ticket purchase will be refunded if the refund is requested 24 hours before, or in the event of a postponement, 24 hours before the "snow date"

Can I sit with my family/friends?

We will seat 7 people per table. We will do our best to accommodate all seating requests ahead of time. Please contact us with your name and reservation number as soon as possible with any seating requests. We cannot guarantee seating at the same table with guests outside your party.

How should I dress?

Accepted Answer

The historic dining room in Staatsburgh can often be cold during the winter months, so dress WARMLY in layers.
