Is your child a gestalt language processor or do they communicate mostly in longer phrases and sometimes have strings of jargon that is hard to understand? Do you dream of your child building lasting social connections with other like minded children? Then gestalts and giggles is for you! Sign up for child led, play based summer fun and watch them build meaningful connections through silly laughter filled activities. Special interests will be incorporated throughout each week of activities (I.e., trains, letters/numbers, books, marble run, etc.) and sensory supports are sure to be integrated for optimal body regulation. Social language gestalts will be modeled within sessions and shared prior to each week for carryover into every environment. This group will be inclusive of all communication types and have speech generating devices available for children using total communication approaches to express their great ideas! This group is for ages 5-6 and will meet starting Friday June 14th from 10:45am-11:30am. The group dates will be as follows: June 14th, June 21st, June 28th, (off July 5th), July 12th and July 19th.
