Does the mileage have to be running and/or walking?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not!  Your child can earn miles doing all kinds of fun activities. Use the Mileage Conversion Chart to see how minutes of dancing, swimming, playing, gardening, skateboarding, and more count. The goal is to move, have fun, and stay active—every mile counts, no matter how they get it!

What is the Mileage Conversion Chart?

Accepted Answer

Using the Mileage Conversion Chart, different activities are converted into “mile equivalents” based on time. For example:
Dancing (Aerobic/Fast/Zumba): 15 min = 1 mile
Playing with children (vigorous): 24 min = 1 mile
Skateboarding: 20 min = 1 mile
Bowling: 20- 30 min = 1 mile

Do I have to bring my tracker with me?

Accepted Answer

While it’s highly encouraged to bring your tracker, we are operating on the honor system.  The most important goal is to have fun, stay active, and be healthy! Tracking helps celebrate progress, but what really matters is moving and enjoying the journey!

When is packet pick-up? What if I can't make it?

Accepted Answer

Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, April 10th from 3:30-7 p.m.  @ Fleet Feet 181 Hughes Rd. Suite 17/Madison, AL, 35756.      No worries if you can't make it Friday.   You can still pick up your packet Race Day!  Just be sure to arrive by 8 a.m.!
