Getting Started with ARP - AState
Intended for new users to get acquainted with HPC systems and for returning users to refresh their knowledge and skills.
The Arkansas High Perfomance Computing Center will present "Getting Started with the Arkansas Research Platform", a two part workshop to help users run jobs on the Pinnacle High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster.

Demystifying High-Performance Computing: Understanding key concepts and practical use cases.
Linux 101: How to create and manage your own project in a Linux environment.
Lunch: noon - 1:00 pm

Part 2 - 1:00 - 4:00 pm:
Introduction to SLURM: Understanding HPC system and resource management.
Submitting Jobs with SLURM: How to submit your first jobs to the HPC system using SLURM.
Prerequisites:
- Bring your own laptop.
- Ensure your laptop can connect to Internet
