Getting ready for AN-ACC: Support for Software Developers
Workshop to assist software developers prepare for the new funding reform for Residential Care.
The Australian Government is investing $7.8 billion to improve residential aged care services and sustainability. This includes the new Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) to replace the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) from 1 October 2022.
As a software developer, you will be required to upgrade your software before the new AN-ACC funding model is introduced. This will allow residential aged care providers to keep using your software to access Services Australia’s Aged Care Web Services. Software updates will also introduce new functionality and other improvements to your software products.
Run by Services Australia, this interactive workshop will help software developers prepare for the AN-ACC funding model changes. The workshop will cover:
• Overview on the technical documentation available
• Requirements for early implementation of palliative care
• Tips on getting ready for the changes
• Opportunity for participants to ask questions on any technical queries
This initiative is part of the Government’s continued strategy to support sector readiness for the funding model changes to residential aged care.
Please Note:
- This is a technical workshop for software developers only.
- You will be sent login details for the session at 8:30am AEST on the day. Keep a lookout in your email. It may get trapped in a junk or mail rule inbox somewhere as it comes from Eventbrite.
- If you do not receive the login details on the day, please email us: AgedCare.Reform.Transition@servicesaustralia.gov.au
- If you are a provider, you can watch previous webinars run by the Department of Health. You can also subscribe to attend upcoming webinars.
