CKA: Health, Nutrition, and Safety

We will cover how lead affects children and where we can find it in our environments. We will also cover how to prevent continued contamination of children and adults in and around childcare facilities.

Training Objectives:

1. Discussion on the dangers of lead poisoning.


2. Discuss where we find lead in childcare environments.


3. Learn about how we reduce lead poisoning in childcare.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
