Anti-racist Collective of Avid Birders

Join experienced eBird enthusiasts Sara Griesemer and  Janice Jorgensen to hone your app skills in time for the peak of spring migration!

Sara and Janice know how to use eBird to get the most out of their birding trips. In this online workshop, they&#x27;ll pass on some of the tips and tricks they use on a regular basis. This workshop is geared toward folks who already have some experience using eBird, and topics covered will be tailored based on questions from registered participants. Topics may include the &quot;Explore&quot; feature, rare bird alerts, finding hotspots, learning the birds to expect at your intended destination.Please register ahead in order to receive the Zoom link. The webinar will be recorded and closed caption will be provided via Zoom.Ahead of the event, we suggest folks:<ul><li>download the <a href="https://ebird.org/about/ebird-mobile/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">eBird app</a> to your mobile device, </li><li>sign up for an <a href="https://support.ebird.org/en/support/solutions/articles/48001158707-get-started-with-ebird#Take-the-eBird-Essentials-Course" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">eBird account</a>, and </li><li>take the online <a href="https://academy.allaboutbirds.org/product/ebird-essentials/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">eBird Essentials Course</a> (approx. 3 hours total, taken at your own pace)</li></ul>
