Get Grounded with Your Horse
Come join us at Colby's Army for a day of connection and learning with horses! This event is all about building a stronger bond with your horse through groundwork exercises. Work hands-on with our herd, and discover new ways to work with your horse on the ground. Beneficial when working with a new or young horse, preparing for the ride, or an alternative to riding. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, this event is perfect for anyone looking to deepen their relationship with their horse or to gain more knowledge of working with horses. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect and grow with your equine partner!
Activities include working with voice commands and hand signals, resistance-free leading, ground driving, and working in the round pen.

1:00 - 4:00 pm - Groundwork activities with our herd

Lisa is an equine clinician, author, podcaster, speaker, PATH, Int'l therapeutic riding instructor, and founder/director of Colby's Army.
NOTE:
All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver. All ages are welcome, however, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to sign waiver.

Event is planned rain or shine. We have a covered area where we can still hold activities. If for any reason we feel the event cannot take place due to weather, we will notify registrants as soon as possible.
This event offers a great learning experience working with horses on the ground for both beginner and experienced riders, whether you own a horse or not. Anyone looking to learn more about connecting with horses, can benefit from ground work activities.
Nothing is required to bring other than your interest in gaining deeper knowledge and experience with connecting with horses through ground work. Dress appropriately for the weather of the day, and be sure to wear athletic shoes, boots, or other close-toed shoes with a heel.
No, this is intended to be done with our wonderful herd of horses here at Colby's Army that you will be working with.
We kindly ask that you keep your furry friends at home. Colby's Army is also a non-smoking facility.
Refunds will not be issued less than 24 hours from time of event.
