Welcome to gentle hatha yoga at Art From the Hart! You are invited to join Valerie for a gentle Hatha practice. Hatha yoga focuses on the union of opposites and provides a variety of postures to lengthen and strengthen your body while inviting healthy movements into the joints. This can support the circulatory system therefore improving overall health. Breath-work will also be used to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest system) for a stress reducing experience. The event will end with a cool down and savasana, in order to settle back to a naturally rested state before heading home.

Feel free to bring your own mat, blanket, pillows/bolsters, blocks, or any other props you choose.
