Generative Typography in Visual Design

Generative Typography in Visual Design is a workshop I created to show how creative coding can help you design unique, expressive letterforms. During the session, participants will learn the basics of generative typography and experiment with a simple custom tool I’ve built to create their own letters.

At the end, everyone will design a poster featuring their generated type. The workshop combines technology with a personal approach to design and encourages playful, hands-on exploration of typography in a relaxed, inspiring way.

Do I need any coding experience?

No prior coding experience is required—this workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to guide you step by step.

What should I bring?

Just your laptop. All necessary tools and materials will be provided.

Is the workshop in English or another language?

The workshop will be held in English.

How long does it last?

It lasts around 2 hours. There will be a short introduction to generative art, followed by the poster creation process.

Is there a maximum number of participants?

Yes—there is a maximum of 25 participants to keep the session hands-on. If there is more interest, a second workshop on the same day may be considered.
