Training Not Telling
This class will focus on practicals and principles for training and guiding school-age children. Bio: The Brands moved to Huntsville in 2020 with a goal of serving the local church. They live on an unofficial farm with goats and a garden and enjoy hiking in the beautiful nature that God provides. JJ earned his BS in Biology and has been a public middle school teacher for nearly 15 years, starting his career in an alternative school setting. Tae explores whatever life brings her. She began her career in public libraries, earned her BS in Biology, and worked in environmental science for 13 years. After moving to Huntsville, she taught science at a private school and now works as a clinic administrator at Rocket City Speech Therapy. JJ and Tae have two wonderful children, JT (12) and Esther (9), and they enjoy reading, hiking, and spending as much time together as possible. The Brands feel truly blessed to serve in the Youth and Family ministry at GHVC.
