Edinburgh Young Europeans

Brexit is the most monumental change that British society has experienced in decades. The outcome of the June 8 general election will be key in determining who will represent Britain in the exit negotiations, and with what positions.
Young European Movement Edinburgh and the European Movement in Scotland will organise a Europe-themed general election debate to hear about parties' positions on Brexit and Europe. Join us at Royal Overseas League at 6pm on Monday, June 5, and bring your friends!
The event is free of charge, and no registration is required in advance. However, we would invite you to register in advance so as to keep track of the expected turnout. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the venue.
All parties with seats in the Scottish Parliament have been invited to send a representative. The speakers are as follows: Moderator: Anthony Salamone (Scottish Centre on European Relations) SNP: Joanna Cherry (Candidate for Edinburgh South West) Conservatives: Iain McGill (Candidate for Edinburgh North and Leith) Labour: Callum McNally (Candidate for East Dunbartonshire) Greens: Lorna Slater (Candidate for Edinburgh North and Leith) Liberal Democrats: Alex Cole-Hamilton (MSP for Edinburgh Western)
