Join Karen from Karen M Designs for this fun and easy 2-hour jewelry making workshop. In no time, you’ll learn how to expertly hand-knot a freshwater pearl or semiprecious gemstone necklace on silk thread to create your very own gem candy necklace.
Learning to expertly hand-knot pearls and gemstones protects each stone and gives an air of elegance to custom pieces.
You’ll have your choice of semiprecious gemstones in various sizes and colors to personalize your creations. We’ll also have extra strands on hand if you’d like to upgrade your stones to pearls or add a 14k solid gold clasp or custom dyed rainbow silk thread.
Cost of class includes
1) One (1) strand semiprecious gemstone beads (jade, quartz)
2) 14K gold filled or sterling silver lobster clasp and jump ring or upgrade to 14k solid gold (starts at $50)
3) Choice of silk thread color or upgrade to custom dyed silk ($20)
4) French wire
5) Gift box, cleaning cloth and adorable reusable pineapple tote bag to keep your creation or gift to a loved one.
6) All tools and materials provided.
