Learn to create unique monotypes without using a press in this one day workshop. Our workshop will cover multiple subjects including paints, papers, using textures, magazine transfers, laser print image transfers and layering multiple colors. No prior art experience is required! (*20% discounted tickets for WCSU Faculty and students)
Supply List: WCSU's Department of Art will supply all Art materials needed for this workshop but students should bring the following:
- Magazines: bring 2-3 with you. These will be torn up. The best ones for image transer are high quality magazines with heavier paper stock and a thincker ink load. (Examples: Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Vanity Fair, Esquire, Cosmopolitan, National Geographic, Architectural Digest)
- Your own Digital photographs: Please bring a selection (up to 5 images). You can bring them on a thumb drive or they can be on your phone or laptop
- BYO bagged Lunch (Coffee & Tea will be available throughout the day.)
