We're back in action! After almost 6 months of keeping a low profile we're kickstart-ing our Geekettes Lean In series. Our mission? To nurture a supportive and safe environment for women working in tech, an environment in which they can exchange information and learn from each other and from other specialists.

What's Lean In?

LeanIn.Org (also known as Lean In Foundation) is a nonprofit organization, dedicated "to offering women the ongoing inspiration and support to help them achieve their goals." Founded in 2016 by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, the organization offers educational resources and programming that encourages female leadership.

What's the first session about?

Body language in the digital era is an interactive talk given by Irina Botea, Lean In Regional Leader for Germany. The main goal behind it is to discover how our body language(s) adapted to our modern communication environments. The better we understand how this changes came to be, the more we'll be aware of our bodies during our next facetime chat or conference call.

When will it take place?

March 8th, the International Day of the Women, will be the date of our first workshop of 2017.

Where will it take place?

The workshop will be hosted at the Berlin HQ of Contentful, in their event space, Contentful FooBar - Ritterstrasse 12-14, 10969 Berlin.
