Intro to Python: Learn some of the basics 

Get Started with Python, in this introductory class. Python, is an extremely readable and versatile programming language that can be leveraged for both scripting and object-oriented programming. Ideal for data analysis, web development with Django, or testing projects that may ultimately be written in another language, Python offers a lot of potential use cases for both emerging and established developers.This workshop will get you set up with a Python programming environment and walk you through a project that showcases Python&#x27;s strengths.To learn more about Python, a free eBook is available via https://do.co/python-bookClass Prep Checklist: (Mandatory)1. She currently leads the Developer Education team at DigitalOcean, and is a digital humanities researcher who works on open source projects to better understand history and literature. Lisa has taught computer science at the undergraduate level, has held research positions at Harvard and MIT, and earned her PhD at the City University of New York. Her popular open access book, How To Code in Python, has been downloaded more than 150,000 times.
