<H4>GDPR Regulation (NL)</H4>
In the first part of this seminar we discuss the European General Data Protection Regulation (<A HREF="https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/general-data-protection-regulation-10-things-you-need-wietse-heremans?trk=prof-post" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">GDPR</A>) that comes into effect in May 2018. This regulation affects EU data protection compliance in many ways but also adds substantial novelties in the field. Almost every organization has past & present EU citizen’s data and will need to implement business processes and technical solutions to meet the GDPR requirements. If requested, you will need to be able to remove traces of data from the organization’s systems that can identify a person. Your organization will need to comply or will receive fines up to €20 million or 4% of annual revenues. If you want to avoid these fines you should definitely take part in this seminar. You’ll learn how you can prevent inappropriate access to sensitive data and protect your data with maximum security.
<H4>eIDAS Regulation (FR)</H4>
The second part of the seminar is about the <A HREF="http://www.docbyte.com/en/blog/legal-landscape-eidas" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">eIDAS regulation</A> (N°910/2014) that went into effect on July 1, 2016 and the Belgian Digital Act of 21/07/2016. These regulations establish a new legal structure for electronic identification, archiving, signatures, seals and timestamping in Europe.  The objective of this part of the seminar is to ensure you’ll have a good understanding of the meaning of the regulations, the effect they have in Belgium and how your organization can be eIDAS compliant. We will provide concrete examples, use cases and solutions to use in your organization to solve your compliance issue.
