About our show
The Gotham City Music Collective, performing in partnership with Mezzo, warmly invites you to our Spring Choral Concert, where our passionate all-volunteer ensemble brings the audience along for a sonic celebration of the springtime spirit of renewal, healing, and togetherness.
Experience the soulful harmonies of "Bridge Over Troubled Water," the haunting beauty of "Loch Lomond," and the heartfelt pleas of "Sanctuary", reflective of the emotional landscape of 2021. The vibrant rhythms of "Niska Banja" and the sublime elegance of Gabriel Faure's "Cantique de Jean Racine," accompanied by a string orchestra, bring an international touch to our exciting program.
Dynamic and electrifying, Mezzo will bring to life an eclectic a cappella mix of contemporary and classic hits. Feel the rhythmic resolve of "Jericho" by Iniko, the timeless and ever-haunting "Mad World," and a nod to our collective home of NYC with Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind."
We are excited to welcome you at St. Paul's German Evangelical Lutheran Church on May 31st at 7:00 pm as our diverse and spirited ensembles showcase their exceptional talents in celebration of spring and connection through music.

About Mezzo
Mezzo is a New York City–based all-female a cappella group. We've recently released our first E.P., called Woman Like Me! Listen to us on Spotify, Youtube, or Apple Music, and share with friends!
Mezzo was founded in 2014 by Lachi, a New York-based musician and advocate. Since then, we've sung at various venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, the Bitter End, the Bell House, the Marriott Marquis, the Shrine, Pianos, and Sessions 73, and have also been part of events such as Thanksgiving parties, Halloween celebrations, weddings, and corporate affairs. We're also part of the Contemporary A Cappella League and the MTA's Music Under New York program, and are the official music partner of the Women's Education Project.
Most importantly, we're a diverse, close-knit group of women who enjoy each other's company, finding our way through life in this city together!
