Save the Day for ALA Garifuna Women Garifuna Heritage Month
It is with immense pleasure that ALA Garifuna Women extends this Event Invitation to all Communities. Our 1th annual Garifuna Heritage Month In Seattle WA, is an event about Black Garifuna women- sharing the meaning of Garifuna culture and practices, celebrating Garifuna history and the arrival of the Garifuna people in Honduras. Recognizing what Garifuna people have done in Latin America.

April 3rd and 17th- ALA Garifuna Open House 5-8pm: Come and see what we do, meet our members and learn more about our community 5-8pm ALA Garifuna Community Center

April 6th - ALA Garifuna Gastronomy Exhibition: experience Garifuna cuisine made by our community members featuring Casabe, Machuca, Pan de Coco, Pan de Ayote, Atol de Maiz and more! April 13th - ALA Garifuna Art Exhibition: come experience the art and creations from our program participants.
