Gardening Workshop

In St. Lucie County, the UF/IFAS Master Gardener Volunteer Program began in 1983.  Today it is estimated more than 700 UF/IFAS Master Gardener Volunteers have been trained in our program Many of them have continued to remain active, often volunteering many hours each week.Selection to become a candidate for the UF/IFAS Master Gardener Volunteer Training Program is not predicated on prior training, education, knowledge, experience, age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or physical disability.A sincere desire to help others, a desire to learn and a personal commitment to volunteer are the major selection criteria involved.  Gardening experience and knowledge are always helpful, but they are by no means a requirement for selection for the UF/IFAS Master Gardener Volunteer Program.

This gardening workshop is being presented by our own St. Lucie County, UF IFAS Extension Master Gardener Volunteer, Karen Cartmill. Registration is required for planning purposes.Walk in participants are welcome!
