Ready to grow your green space and connect with nature? Join the International Awareness and Involvement Committee of the Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, in partnership with Rooting For You, LLC, for Gardening Essentials, an in-person workshop designed to help you build confidence in your gardening journey.

Soil is the foundation of every thriving garden. In this first session, participants will learn how to understand and build healthy soil, creating the conditions needed to begin growing successfully. As part of our Garden Foundations: Preparing to Grow focus, we will also explore garden clean-up, sunlight, and planning, along with an engaging hands-on activity.

Whether you are a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop offers a welcoming space to learn, connect, and grow. Come ready to gain practical knowledge and leave with tips you can apply right away.
