Description

Join Penn Serves LA for Gardeneer Day with the Pasadena Education Foundation!

Come out for a morning of gardening and connecting, to support the edible garden for the students at Wilson Middle School – we’ll be digging, weeding, laying irrigation, harvesting, mulching, and more!

The Pasadena Unified School District’s Farm-to-School program builds healthy eating and fitness habits early in life. Pasadena Unified is one of 60 California school districts committed to developing local supply chains with local farmers and producers, and its garden initiative is generously supported by organizations including the Pasadena Education Foundation and the Pasadena Gardens Conservancy.

Take a peek at what we’ll be doing!
