Should I bring any specific gear?

Appropriate clothing - comfortable attire and sturdy shoes/boots are a must. Bring water. Hats, sunscreen, bug spray are optional but encouraged for this time of year. Trekking poles are great for this hike if you have them!

It is preferred that you leave the dogs out of this one as the park allows for dogs to ONLY be on designated trails while leashed.

This is a Moderate/Strenuous 2-mile hike. Explore several preserved liquor stills on this hike along Garden Creek at Stone Mountain State Park. Much of this hike will be off-trail. Dress accordingly. Meet at the Garden Creek Baptist Church INSIDE Stone Mountain Park on the main road through the park.
