Gangs & Youth Violence

This is a half day course and will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams.

Sadly, there are 28,000 young gang members and Looked After Children are being drawn into this awful situation. The session looks at Gang and Knife culture and the desire for many of our children to identify as a “Gangster”. This follows the journey of Henry, a 17-year-old Looked After Child embroiled in gang membership who commits a drive by murder of an opposing gang member. Legislation around knives and trends regarding use are also highlighted.
