About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Our next meetup is set for May 8 and will take place at CORE Business Center, Ukmergės st. 126.

This time we'll focus on contracting, creativity and management topics.

Our first guest is Melanie Lindsey, who is working with project-based recruitment processes at Evolution technology talent solutions agency. She will overview the current situation with employment, focusing on the Nordics region, and advise on how to navigate contracts and other forms of joining projects and studios.

Second guest is a recent recipient of Lifetime Achievement Award at LT Game Awards – game designer Dmitrijus Babičius. His talk will cover several areas where video games and board game industries interconnect and how experiences in the the latter helped to learn a few things about the former.

Final guest is games producer at CHARK Studio – Vaidas Gecevičius. He will talk about main learning points in leading a small, scrappy, multi-talented team – including yourself – through chaos, creativity, and crunch to actually ship what you start.

Afterwards we'll have some time for chatting, snacks and drinks.

Thanks to DevGAMM for helping with the event and the Lithuanian Council for Culture for continuous support!
