Game On!

The Beaufort Digital Corridor is a creative effort to attract, nurture and promote Beaufort's technology entrepreneurs through a combination of technology-enabled initiatives and business incentives, private business support and member-driven programming.

Beaufort Digital Corridor

Game On! is a code/gaming education program geared toward middle and high school students who would like to learn the practice of game design and development. Over this five-session program, students learn the theory, tools, and practice required to create their own games. The Game On! course:

<LI>Helps students discover a passion for game design, computer science and coding</LI>
<LI>Introduces middle and high school students to the world of game development</LI>
<LI>Gets students excited about a potential career path in the high-wage, tech industry</LI>
</UL>
Dates: October 13 - November 17, 2018  Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm for five Saturday classes (no class on Nov. 3) This class is BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) - it can't be Apple MacBooks, the game engine doesn't work on Apple products. Laptop should have PowerPoint installed, or as an alternative WPS Office Free.
