Welcome to the online event that will introduce you to new ways of thinking about what a succesful game design can achieve - and how to achieve it! The event will take place via Zoom on the 24th of February 2026 (17:30 Central European Time, 18:30 GR, 16:30 UK, 11:30 EST). Do you feel ready to enrich your game &amp; narrative design approach? Are you eager to craft top-tier pitch decks or concept documents? Want to understand how human emotions underpin all game experiences, and improve your skills under the guidance of an experienced designer with dozens of credited games? Whether you're looking to add depth to your game design methods, understand how game systems generate stories, or explore player practices, this event is for you. Led by Chris Bateman of Discworld Noir, Ghost Master, Silk, and Aliens: Dark Descent fame this live presentation will introduce you to the Game Design Masterclass course (and its two tiers), starting on March 24, 2026. You'll gain insights into: <ul><li>The fundamentals of game &amp; narrative design.</li><li>Why understanding what players actually do is crucial.</li><li>The structure, tiers, and learning objectives of the course.</li><li>Key topics covered and the hands-on projects you'll work on.</li></ul> Following the presentation, a Q&amp;A session with Chris Bateman will give you the chance to ask anything about the course, game design, or narrative design in video games.
