Belmont Ave. Chicago, IL 60657 – Friday July 29, 2022 at 6:00 P.M.Come enjoy community, light snacks and drinks, and the opportunity to meet and chat with the artist about her pieces on display for all to enjoy.20% of all proceeds from art sales will be donated by the artist to Sarah’s Circle - Ending Homelessness for Women.About Beth Kamhi:Beth is a Chicago artist with a working studio in the Cornelia Arts Building in Roscoe Village.Currently Beth’s practice focuses on site specific collaboration and commissioned projects. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design, she is an experienced textile, fashion and interior designer. Beth weaves her love for textiles, form and design into each creation using industrial ball chain, her medium of choice for over 15 years. One piece transitions to the next creating a mindful yet intentional flow of modern artwork with a balance of delicate and industrial, juxtaposed gender and sexuality, challenging assumptions of content and form.Thanks to art consultants, interior designers and architects; Beth’s work has been commissioned for public, corporate, hospitality and residences around the world. Beth is a co-founder of The Margin Gallery Collective (2006-2012) and 3D 12 Sculptors Group (2010-present) both with extensive exhibitions in the Midwest region. Her studio is in The Cornelia Arts Building, one of Chicago’s last arts communities on the near North Side.About Dr. John Reuter:Dr. John Reuter of Universal Wellness Source is a local chiropractor in Chicago’s Roscoe Village. He focuses on neurologic-based chiropractic care for your entire family and specializes in stem cell therapy for chronic pain and ailments.Dr. John is a lover of art and has been a member of the Art Institute of Chicago for years. He wanted to do more to support and engage with his neighborhood of Roscoe Village and beyond to the greater Chicago metro area. In that spirit he has put together a Community Outreach Art Exhibition Series featuring local artists from all over Chicago.
