Galentine's Dance

Louisville Girls Leadership (LGL) is a leadership development program designed for students, ages 15 to 18, to have an opportunity to come together from all areas of Jefferson County to develop life skills and alliances that will enable them to become visionary community leaders. Led by a steering committee of diverse 11thand 12thgrade girls, LGL gives young women the opportunity to grow as leaders and develop confidence by building key leadership skills through a yearlong curriculum lead by community leaders.  Visitwww.louisvillegirlsleadership.orgfor more information. Muhammad Ali Center

Galentine's DanceJoin us for a fabulous night of fun, friendship, and dancing at the Muhammad Ali Center! Created in response to feeling uncomfortable at school dances, Galentine’s is an all-girls dance for high schoolers aimed at providing girls regardless of religion, cultural background, or sexual identity a quintessentially high school experience where they feel welcome. All girls, trans, genderqueer, non-binary people, and allies are welcome. Students are encouraged to dress how they want, dance how they want, listen to the music they want, and have fun with their friends.
