Hope for the Journey is being offered for ONLINE viewing and available to anyone who is interested. Thrive will be offering some local in-person/zoom opportunities to discuss portions of the conference over the next several months. These discussion sessions will limited to foster and adoptive families.

Show Hope’s Hope for the Journey Conference (formerly the Empowered to Connect Conference) is designed to encourage and equip parents and caregivers meeting the everyday needs of children impacted by adoption and/or foster care. The conference is also a much-needed resource for churches, agencies, and organizations in their care and support of the families and communities they serve.

This conference is being sponsored by Thrive, a local ministry to adoptive and foster families. Our Mission is to encourage, empower and equip those caring for children from hard places so the kids can experience healing and families can THRIVE!

Will there be opportunities for follow up discussions?

Yes! Thrive has planned in-person discussion options Please RSVP via the Facebook events or google forms to let us know if you will be joining us (to be emailed). Dates: April 18th Discussion on Session 1, May 16th: Discussion on Sessions 2 and 3, and June TBD: Discussion on Session 4.

Encouraging, empowering and equipping foster and adoptive parents as they care for children from hard places, so that kids can find healing and families can THRIVE.  We meet once a month (2nd Thursday of the each month 6pm at Greenhouse church) providing a safe place where parents are refreshed and ready to pour back into their kids.  We also have regular family events and offer classes for prospective adoptive parents.  We can be reached at thrivegainesville@gmail.com
