PKN 38: Ապագայի հմտություններ/ Future Skills

PechaKucha Nights (PKN)are highly informal and great fun gatherings. Creative people get together and share their ideas, thoughts and insights on different topics in a stimulating environment, among great company!started in Tokyo in 2003 (that explains the choice of name:  literally means “chit-chat” in Japanese!). The concept has now spread to over 1,200 cities around the world, arriving here in our own Yerevan in 2010.The format of every PechaKucha presentation is very powerful yet very simple too. The speaker shows 20 images, each for 20 seconds (6 min 40 sec in total). This keeps presentations concise and fast-paced – think the live presentation equivalent of a tweet! The slides advance automatically and the speaker to keep up with them – so no overruns!

It’s hard to forecast what kind of skills we have to get today to be ready for tomorrow. Or, maybe we don&#x27;t need any forecast, but can make our hobby to become our source of income?

Join us this Friday evening to navigate through the exciting presentations on future skills. We will discuss the set of skills that will help us stay competitive and that are not easy to code and be replaced with machines. We may even think of modeling the labor market we wish to be a part of. 
Our speakers with diverse expertise and will talk about the education processes, creative thinking, local and global labour markets, modern IT skills, soft skills and other interesting topics that may equip us with better understanding for the coming future.
