Future Communities Game Jam

Communities are better places to live, learn, and thrive because of the people and ideas supported by The Sprout Fund.We help projects and programs in the early stages of development—when just a small amount of investment has the potential to yield big results in the community. Since 2001, we’ve worked with regional and national philanthropic partners to build strong networks and make nearly $7 million of community-decided investments in more than 1,000 early-stage projects, organizations, innovators, and activities.

Bring friends, make friends! Get comparative, Get competitive, Get creative.
Meet startup leaders, app developers, city data scientists, and professional game designers and work together to explore our changing world and demonstrate how new technology will shape the future of our city. Plus, get a look inside AlphaLab Gear, one of the city's most innovative startup incubators where people are bringing the future to life.

There will be plenty to eat and drink, so come hungry and stay late. 
Parents welcome, but not necessary.
Arrival &amp; Parking
AlphaLab Gear is located in Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood (<A HREF="https://www.google.com/maps/place/AlphaLab+Gear/@40.4620603,-79.9234719,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xbe95272dcc1cbaea!8m2!3d40.4620603!4d-79.9234719" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">see a map</A>) and the main entrance is on Broad Street. Look for the balloons to find your way in.
There is a metered public parking lot immediately adjacent to AlphaLab Gear, as well as metered street parking nearby. If you plan to arrive after 730, or you need to reach the event organizers, please call 412-863-2907.
