Funny Femmes Open Mic (Female + LGBTQIA+ Friendly)

Join us every Wednesday at 6pm for the Funny Femmes Open Mic, an event hosted by the Women's Comedy Collective in partnership with Comedy in Harlem. For just $5, you get 5 minutes on the mic, followed by optional supportive feedback in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

We're proud to be female (identifying) and LGBTQAI+ friendly, and we invite everyone to come to Harlem to find their funny and leave with a whole new crew of comedy friends. Whether you're a seasoned comic or just starting out, our hosts Shannon and Tiffanee, both local comics and co-founders of the Women's Comedy Collective, are here to help sharpen and shine your set for your next show.

At the Women's Comedy Collective, we're committed to getting women and those who identify as women on the mic and in the spotlight, because we believe females are funnier. Come join us for a night of laughter, camaraderie, and support!

Keep Your Commitment: Show up and show out ON time.

Keep Your Rep: Stay for the WHOLE hour & respect your fellow comics.

Keep It Real: Only perform your OWN material.

Keep It Kind: No hate speech or nastiness towards anyone (unless it's yourself or your mom, and even then, be gentle!).

Keep It Fun: Enjoy yourself on stage and let that joy translate into laughter for both you and the audience.
