FunkyTown Donuts & Drafts Pairing

FunkyTown Donuts & Drafts is located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, in Sundance Square, and is a family-owned & operated, local business. Brandon & Angie Moors started catering out of their house in 2014, established their first brick & mortar in the Medical District in May of 2016 and opened their second location (Donuts & Drafts) in Sundance Square in July of 2018.  FunkyTown Donuts uses fresh ingredients for their made-from-scratch donuts, glazes, toppings/fillings, and puts a funky twist on the traditional donut. The Sundance Square location also serves beer, wine, coffee and espresso-based drinks. Did you know you can walk around with beer/wine in Fort Worth? Be sure to stop by and grab a beer/wine to go!

FunkyTown Donuts & Drafts

National Donut Day is Friday, June 7th so what better way to celebrate than to attend a Donuts & Drafts Pairing! FunkyTown Donuts & Drafts have teamed up with four local Fort Worth breweries to create an epic donuts & drafts pairing - Breweries: Panther Island Brewing, Cowtown Brew Co, Martin House Brewing & Hop Fusion Ale Works! Need something to cool off? Donut worry - Melt Ice Creams will be onsite scooping their delicious sorbet! We will be handing out Chandon Rose personal sized bottles, DJ Jason Esquire will be spinning beats, and you will have an opportunity to chat with a rep from each brewery about their pairing. Tickets are $28 per person (21+ to enjoy the alcohol) or $15 per person for the donut flight only (no alcohol but a Root Beer will be included). PAIRING ONE: Michelada Donut (Tomato glaze with tajin, chamoy & lime) - paired with La Mera Hora Mexican Style Lager from Cowtown Brew Co
PAIRING TWO: Dark Chocolate Hibiscus (Dark chocolate glaze with hibiscus drizzle) - paired with Feisty RedHead Hisbiscus Cherry Blonde from Hop Fusion Ale Works
PAIRING THREE: Peach Jalapeno (Peach glaze, filled with jalapeno cream cheese) - paired with Summageez Unfiltered American Wheat Brewed with Hand-Picked Parker County Peaches from Panther Island Brewing
PAIRING FOUR: Watermelon (Watermelon glaze with a mint drizzle and a scoop of Watermelon Mint Sorbet from Melt Ice Creams) - Paired with Watermelon Crush Sour from Martin House Brewing
