About the event
At the Fundraising Regulator we rely on the voices of fundraisers to shape our decisions and strategy. We will soon have three vacancies on our Committees for experienced fundraisers, and an additional vacancy on our Board for a Senior Fundraiser – could you be the person we are looking for?
We are inviting anyone interested in finding out more to join us for an information session on 15 May. This is a great opportunity to hear from our vice-chair, Margaret Moore and members of our committees.
We are also hosting an afternoon session so if you would prefer to sign up to attend this session later in the day, please register here.
By attending, you are under no commitment to apply for a position – however it may help with your application. This event is simply to share more information so that you can gain an understanding of what the Fundraising Regulator is looking for from their committee members, plus the benefits of joining us.

What to expect
The session will include:
- Introduction to the different roles we have available – Daisy Houghton, Head of Communications and Corporate Services
- An outline of the types of skills and experience we are looking for – Margaret Moore, Vice-chair and member of our Finance, Audit and Risk Committee
- Current Committee Member currently working for a charity will give their perspective and talk about managing conflicts of interests and time commitments.
