About Your Presenter:
Althea Lewis is the President of Lewis Grant Writing Services, LLC. She has a Master's degree in Business Administration and is pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. In addition, she is pursuing a certificate in Nonprofit Management at Duke University. She has over 20 years of experience in grant writing and consulting and has secured over $50M in grant funding for non-profit, faith-based organizations, school districts, and universities. She currently teaches various grant writing seminars through the Small Business Center at local community colleges and serves as a federal grant reviewer for the US Department of Health & Human Services, the US Department of Education, and other national funding agencies. She is a current member of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) and has presented at numerous conferences nationwide, such as the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), GPA, and the Hampton University Ministers' Conference.
