Fun(d) The Dream

David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation (DDBCF) was created in 2010 by David Caldarella during his grueling battle with Stage IV head and neck cancer. Just days after receiving his initial diagnosis, David rallied a small group of lifelong friends around a rather simple idea to create a local non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to help New Jersey patients and families struggling with a cancer diagnosis. Our modest goal as a new 501(c)(3) in 2011 was to help just a few families per year. The demand has steadily increased and at the close of 2017, DDBCF provided a cumulative $778,381.91 in direct financial aid to 1,004 individuals and families affected by a cancer diagnosis, thanks to numerous successful events and the generosity of both individual and corporate donors. In addition to providing direct financial aid, DDBCF has also been a vehicle for wellness services, emotional support and HOPE to countless numbers of patients, family members and caregivers.

This rain or shine event will take place July 14, 2018 from 5:00-9:00 pm. All event profits will benefit David’s Dream &amp; Believe Cancer Foundation. The cancer assistance efforts of DDBCF are unparalleled in the local area and we’re extremely happy to support this noble local cause. Fun(d) the Dream will feature live music by upcoming local artists <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/sahara.moon.7" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sahara Moon</A> and <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/augustandoak/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">August and Oak</A>, craft brew by <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/PinelandsBrewingCo/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Pinelands Brewing Co</A> and award-winning wine from New Jersey’s <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/ValenzanoWinery/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Valenzano Winery</A>. Expect a charcuterie appetizer bar, jumbo sea scallops, farm-fresh vegetables, phenomenal desserts by Sweet Melissa and many other delicious eats. We’ll also have fresh cold ice tea, lemonade and water available to quench that thirst. All this is included in the ticket price. We hope to see you there!
