About this Event
PLEASE NOTE: You MUST register by 2pm on the day of the event. We will not process registrations after this time.
We all have yards and make choices daily about what we do with them. Do we want to manage stormwater? Do we want to promote pollinators? Is wildlife a priority? These are not mutually exclusive. This presentation discusses our current landscaping practices and is a case study of practices adopted in a traditional suburban yard.
This webinar will be presented by Diane Oleson, a retired Water Resources Extension Educator, a Master Watershed Steward volunteer and avid gardener. She has a keen interest in invasive species and well owner education as a Master Well Owner Network volunteer.
This webinar is presented in partnership with the following organizations: Community Conservation Committee, Penn State Extension York County, and Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.
The Community Conservation Committee (C3) is an approved 501C3 non-profit with an education and awareness mission. We strive to offer practical solutions to enhance and protect our local ecosystems in ways that everyone can understand and embrace. We rely on support from private individuals and local businesses to continue our programs, so please consider supporting us by making a tax-deductible donation.
