About this event

This cacao ceremony, deep transformational breathwork and sound bath session will bring relaxation and ease into your evening. The Cacao that has been imported from a small independent Andean Village in Peru will be served to all attendees to honor the history and culture of the Indigenous Ancient Aztec Tradition while honoring our hearts with intention and love.

Raw Ceremonial Cacao is a plant medicine originated in Central and South America dating back thousands of years ago to open the heart, ease anxiety and stress, reduce inflammation, and bring forth awareness with an open heart.

*** Donations will be collected and a portion of your proceeds will be donated to “CARE" a global non-profit organization helping defeat poverty and achieve justices around the world. Education, Food, Water and Equality.***

We will then practice deep guided Therapeutic Somatic Breath Work exercises back by science to calm our nervous system while consciously letting go of anything that no longer serve us. This includes Intentional application of deep inhalations and deep exhalations to calm your mind, ease tension in your muscles and giving you the release and relaxation you deserve.

Lastly, we will finish with a Therapeutic Sound Bath. As you lay down, simply allow the holistic sounds of the instruments to ease your mind, your thoughts, and stresses. The sounds will be a mix of low frequency and high frequency to bring you balance, rejuvenation and deep calmness within you.

Frequently asked questions

What is Sound Therapy?

Sound Therapy has been practiced for thousands of years to improve internal and external health issues, as well as supporting mental and emotional wellbeing. This ancient practice has been carried down for centuries through the power of sound and its beneficial effects on the human body.

Why and How does it work?

Everything is energy or composed of energy. The energetic sounds (frequencies) made from the instrument(s) can interact with your body's cells to create beneficial results, due to the fact that our bodies are made of 75% water and they are a great conductor for vibration/frequency.

How will it Benefit me?

Stress/anxiety is correlated to high levels of frequency. Hence the tension around your neck and chest. Low (deep) frequency sounds can help counteract with that. Depression correlates to low levels of frequency in your body and high pitched sounds can help counteract. The goal is to balance both!

What is a Cacao Ceremony

Cacao ceremonies have been around for thousands of years and originated from South America in the indigenous villages during the Ancient Aztec Civilization. In a cacao ceremony, you will be seated with other attendees while setting intentions, expressing gratitude, and wholeheartedly being present.

What does Cacao taste like?

Raw Cacao has a bitter, earthy flavor, like unsweetened dark chocolate. Unprocessed and unmanufactured. The Cacao recipe I use is vegan and animal cruelty free.

How will I feel after drinking Cacao?

Ceremonial cacao contains an abundance of theobromine that stimulates the cardiovascular system and can give you the feeling of a warm and uplifting “hum”. This type of sensation is referred as the "heart opener". It's a cozy, warm and fuzzy feeling.

Can I drink Cacao if I'm on anti-depressant medicine?

Do not ingest ceremonial cacao if you’re taking antidepressants, or have a serious heart condition, or taking hypertension medications. Ceremonial cacao contains tryptophan and MAO inhibitors that may cause a synergistic intensification when combined with antidepressants.
