Full Day Guided Float down the Silver River

Float down the entire length of the gorgeous Silver River with a guide and see an abundance of wildlife.

This is a full-day paddle down the beautiful Silver River. It is 5.5 miles on this beautiful spring-fed, crystal clear river, and takes about 4 hours. We will start at the headsprings and float with the current all the way to the takeout at Ray Wayside Park. Most tours are a 2 mile loop involving paddling back against the current. This is the only guided tour that involves floating down the entire Silver River. You will see an abundance of wildlife - turtles, birds, and gators. There are also monkeys and manatees, so we might get lucky and see those too! You will also learn some history and geology along the way, and about the dangers facing the springs. At the end of the tour you will be shuttled back to your car at Silver Springs State Park.
