About this event

This Multi-day, facilitated experience taking place on Tuesday, July 9th & Wednesday, July 10th from 9am-4pm CT empowers educational leaders in districts and schools to develop the capacity to strengthen relationships, improve emotional well-being and retention, and address critical culture and climate conditions (e.g. safety, trust, connection and belonging).


Participants will:

  • Recognize the impact of relationships on the developing brain and its capacity to learn
  • Build communication skills to handle challenging relationships and help others grow
  • Develop self-awareness about student and adult behaviors that might be triggering
  • Identify their own attachment style, how it developed, and how it impacts them today
  • Prioritize their emotional well-being by enhancing their self-compassion

What hotels do you recommend?

This event will be held at the Houston Food Bank at 535 Portwall St, Houston, TX 77029. FuelEd recommends attendees stay in East Downtown Houston near Minute Maid Park.

Will food be provided?

Each morning from 8:30am - 9:00am there will be coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries. There will be catered lunch provided on each day. We will have a variety of food to support all dietary needs present. There will also be snacks and beverages provided during the event.

Is my registration refundable?

Registration to this event is non-refundable. However, your registration can be transferred to another person. Please email those details to programteam@fueledschools.org should you wish to transfer your registration.

Are there payment plans available?

If you're interested in providing payment for registration in multiple payments, please indicate "pay by invoice" at check out and a email programteam@fueledschools.org with your request. We will work to support you and your team's attendance.
