Join the library at Filbert Street Garden for a crash course all about fruit trees.

Planting and caring for fruit trees is a great way to give yourself the gift of fresh fruit! Join us at Filbert Street Garden for a workshop led by Rebecca Shippe, Urban Forester for Baltimore City, to learn about growing fruit trees in Baltimore City. This workshop will cover the ins and outs of planting and helping your fruit trees thrive, from seed to pruning needs. Participants will get some hands-on training with pruning, as well as receive a free tree to take home courtesy of Tree Baltimore!

This program is part of a summerlong series presented by Filbert Street Garden and Enoch Pratt Free Library.

This session will take place at the garden: 1321 Filbert St, Baltimore, MD 21226. Free street parking is available.
