Are you a minority man who wants to improve your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being in a supportive and interactive environment? If so, join us for “From Surviving to Thriving: A 3-Part Workshop on Men’s Mental Wellness”. This workshop series will help you learn how to cope with stress, depression, and masculinity, build meaningful relationships, practice self-care, and overcome racial discrimination. You will also gain valuable knowledge, skills, and resources to enhance your mental wellness and achieve your goals.
The workshop series will be facilitated by qualified and experienced mental health professionals and educators, who have expertise and passion in the topics of men’s mental health, racial justice, and online learning. They will guide you through interactive and engaging activities and discussions, and provide you with feedback and encouragement throughout the workshop.
The workshop series consists of three sessions, each lasting for two hours, and covering the following topics:
- Part 1: Coping with Stress, Depression, and Masculinity
- Part 2: Building Relationships, Practicing Self-Care, and Dealing with Anger
- Part 3: Overcoming Racial Discrimination, Accessing Mental Health Resources, and Improving Communication Skills
