Frog Talk

Frogs are doing a lot of talking this time of year! Come learn about some of High Points noisiest amphibians. As we wait for the sky to darken and the frogs to start talking, we’ll share a story about frogs, and then go on a froggy flashlight hunt along a short stretch of trail. Then we’ll turn our lights towards the pond and look for real croakers in action. Bring a flashlights for frog spotting—the brighter the better! Suitable for families with children ages five and up. Meet at the Park Office located on Route 23 across from the main entrance to the park. Wear boots or old shoes - the area around the pond can be squishy!
